Credits sport and coaches he had along the way for his personal growth and success

Raymond Jacques loves the game. He loves the game so much that he, along with his wife, Michelle, have been ardent supporters of The USA Hockey Foundation for more than eight years. He believes in the life lessons and opportunities that hockey provides. He credits the sport and the coaches he had along the way for his personal growth and success on the ice and ultimately in the financial sector.

The USA Hockey Foundation caught up with Jacques to discuss the power of hockey and why he contributes.

The USA Hockey Foundation: How do you and Michelle feel when you make a gift to the USA Hockey Foundation?

Raymond Jacques: Hockey played an amazing role in my life. Life lessons were taught by so many great mentors and lifelong friends made.

We are happy to help The USA Hockey Foundation and the kids today, whether it be youth, national, sled, girls, boys, men or women. We have helped raise over $250,000 in the last eight years for The USA Hockey Foundation and will continue to help this worthy cause. It is our hope that someone, somewhere will get out of this great game what I did.

The USA Hockey Foundation: The Jacques family has been a corporate sponsor for The USA Hockey Foundation Golf Classic for the past eight years. Why do you support this event?

Jacques: We have become good friends to many of those at USA Hockey and have come to know them as very intelligent and caring people. When we make a donation we know that money will be in great hands!

We trust them.
